Child Safety First: My Response To Public Racism

In the last 30 days since filing to run for school board, I have encountered more racism than at any other time in my life. Surprising, was the hate coming from elected officials and those running for office. No racism when working in the school district (Lunch Lady picture above). I did not know where it was all coming from all of a sudden. Sadly, it originated from someone I have invited over to my house multiple times to talk. This hit close to home when "Le Peu" who has been spreading a false narrative about me, was leaving the Moms For Liberty Anchorage meeting on Thursday night, February 13, 2025.

"Le Peu" thought it was appropriate to shout my direction, within feet of two children from the Rilke Schule German Immersion School and their mother:

"F--K you, N-zi F--K!" ... (Edited for transparency)... "You N-zi m0therf--k-r"

One of the two phrases were said, interpretation of which one of these two were said is up for debate between myself and "Le Peu". It was said around children and is unacceptable. As a decorated Veteran, who served with multiple cultures across 50 countries for over 20 years of my life; being falsely accused of racism, antisemitism, and white nationalism is deeply offensive. I am an American Dad focused on improving our school system. What was put on display was not helpful at all and completely disrespectful to everyone in the room. Especially those little girls. I grew up in Scottsdale, Arizona. Graduated from Coronado High School in 2001. I joined the military the summer after graduation. I chose to be a Crew Chief, C-130 mechanic. I raised my hand for everything I could. It got me deployed 6 times in some very interesting locations and earned the respect of a lot of people of all races and backgrounds. We embraced everyone's differences as human beings.

Lost my first friend in 2005 around Christmas. He was not the last. I could see the mental strain on everyone so I kept raising my hand to go.

In 2010, I decided 6 deployments was enough and I wanted to teach. Having been the most qualified for the position, it was easy. I earned the 2011 ACC Instructor of the Year. In 2012, we earned the ACC Maintenance Training Flight Team of the Year when I took over the section. Racism did not exist.

I finally earned my Masters Degree in Business Administration from University of Phoenix in 2012 and moved overseas.

I was sent to Ramstein and worked in the Isochronal Inspection section. We spent every minute we could outside of work traveling to every country and attending every festival for 4 years. During duty hours, I saved the Air Force $2.6 Million, nearly overnight, by streamlining our inspection process. Reduced the time it took, how many people we needed, and we had more time off to explore. The base started the Innovation March Madness in USAFE because of what our team did; still saving the Air Force millions each year 10 years later.

All I received in return was a job flying around Africa sightseeing with guys with guns for a while and earned my Professional Management Certificate. There are some amazing places in this world that all of our kids should know about. So much wonderful history that cannot be found in books. Being sent to Alaska in 2016, I knew this was going to be where I lived the rest of my life. I got involved in the Air Force Sergeants Association since 2004 and was elected Chapter President upon arrival. This was not my first time in this position, so we had a very strong team who did things nobody thought was possible without much money. Making connections with everyone, not just a select few was our mission. We were able to work with squadrons to better integrate the organization into each individual workplace and also hosted Former Mayor Ethan Berkowitz to our meeting! I thought he was a pretty good guy.

I was honored to receive the 2017 AFSA Member of the Year Award and we won nearly every award possible that year as a team. Best in the World results out of 110,000 members.

I have also been directly involved with the VFW Post 9785 and the Military Order of the Cooties, where my volunteer hours in the community have been tracked for years. I still have a habit to raise my hand to volunteer for things.

I retired in 2021 and attempted to transition to become a teacher through the Air Force Skillbridge program and University of Alaska Fairbanks.

I was attached to Alpenglow Elementary School as I was attending class and supplementing with in school OJT. I was put into the SPED room for the majority of the year. Greatest experience of my life. I still help on the Ice Rink crew with Pete McEnaney when I can and volunteer when the school needs a hand. The Principal suggested I apply for the Cafeteria Manager job, I absolutely loved serving the kids. All smiles. Perfect opportunity to improve our All Pro Dads Chapter where we hosted monthly meetings with Dads and their kids before school to have the 'tough talks' about feelings that most Dads don't know how to do. Since working at the district, I have not been happy as a parent, previous employee, volunteer, or taxpayer in the Anchorage School District. About a year ago, I was looking for ways to reach out for help. I spoke at the Cuddy Hall at UAA https://fb.watch/xNCmpTBPWu/ I then started hearing stories from other parents and teachers. I decided to step in immediately when I heard one too many stories. A child was struck 42 times while 4 adults watched, they were unable to do anything 'due to policy'. Watch video: Clark Middle School student savagely attacked by student gang during gym class - Must Read Alaska I showed up to the Anchorage School Board meeting on April 9th, 2024 to speak to the board directly because phone calls and emails were no longer working.

Natasha, spoke defending her kiddo: Mother of student police say seen in viral video being assaulted testifies in front of ASD board over bullying policies New video: Fight Club's school principal gets big award, but had ignored safety pleas from parent - Must Read Alaska Margo Bellamy, School Board President at the time, stated if there was time after everyone speaks, there would be more time after for anyone else. I made a point of order and asked permission to speak since everyone was done early and a few students said they were too nervous to use their time, she said explicitly "you will not speak today sir".

Student safety was no longer a priority with Anchorage School district despite the board stating it constantly.

I noticed very quickly that X is an extremely useful tool and noticed all of the racism immediately from "Le Peu". I have talked to him about many subjects, but it always comes back to the same one topic with him and it is exhausting. I have invited him to my house several times because I know things get lost in text and I have never said anything derogatory to him at all, ever. What I say on X, is tool to be a lifelong learner, I did not start the account to enter the public domain and run for office. Its a platform to learn, receive unbiased news, and share information freely around the world. I knocked on 4,000 doors, talked with parents, teachers, community leaders from all walks of life.

I read, research online, watch documentaries, and play a lot of League of Legends. It is quite embarrassing how bad I still am at the game. TearsOfValhalla#Tears - Summoner Stats - League of Legends And Get outside and experience Alaska, away from the distractions of city life has been important. Out on the water is where I feel most at home.

The biggest impact on my life is rediscovering my faith. From an early age, my Mom always told me when traveling to always look for a Bible. I would love to talk with anyone about any parts of the journey on the spiritual side, or share any stories so I can learn more. My life has never seen race as being a divider. But now, because of perceptions of one person I am labeled something I am not and have never associated with, my grandma would beat me with a wooden spoon!

Most of the comments come with zero merit. Im a Dad trying to improve the education system better for all of our kids. Hitler is bad. But he is not causing 49th in the nation results in education currently. I'm running for School Board, not to conquer Canada. Some people need to grow up. The accusations are growing concerning and one attendee at the Moms meeting expressed concern over my physical safety moving forward. This is not the first time "Le Peu" has falsely claimed these things about myself or others in Alaska, but the first time in public and with children around, to my knowledge.

I am extremely thankful that I did not bring my daughters with me to the event, and that there were multiple people at the meeting recording what was being said and the 'hostility' from "Le Peu" was audibly mentioned by members of the group.

Let me be clear: child safety is my top priority. Feelings of those who harm children in any way, are not. This includes creating an environment where any woman, especially little girls, feels threatened or unsafe.

The Department of Education has made it clear that racism will not be tolerated in our educational system (see letter). I stand firm against bullies like "Le Peu," ensuring our communities remain safe and inclusive for ALL kids.
